TUESDAY

Its Tuesday of the ninth week of classes. I have only completed one project. About to start on the second and I have less than 8 hours to complete it. I finished the one for this class the only thing I have left is to go in and put my references in. I am so behind this week. Not only do I have the paper to do, I still have all of the other work that needs to done for my school work in order to get credit for all of it.

so needless to say i need to get my butt in gear and get all of this stuff done. Here goes to another long day!!!

Sleeping the night and day away

So this weekend has been crazy!! On Thursday after getting off work I made a 12 hour drive to Georgia. Had a great time at the scrapbooking retreat that I attended. Did not get nearly as much as I wanted to done. But I still enjoyed myself. Drove back on Sunday night. We left Georgia around two and returned home by 2:30 a.m. Now I am back at work and ready for this work week to be over.

I am now attending a Car Show and a Hockey Game (first hockey game ever that i have attended). I am pretty excited. So now this week is going to busy!!! Which means I'm gonna be doing option 2 once again for both of my classes. Which is fine but it wears me down. I am also attending the Phantom next Sunday for an early birthday present.

So I have a busy two weeks coming up plus I have both of my projects to do!! So i better get my butt in gear to make sure everything gets finished.

Final Projects

So this term has been extremely hard for me. I have two 7 page papers and I am not good at writing papers. So therefore I am stressing about whether or not I am going to write a good paper as well as a paper that meets the requirement length. I have alot of great information for both papers but some dont fit in with the thesis. I try to stick with the things that I have in my thesis. But I think that I am going to be a little more bold and go with some things that are not included.

I am also starting a new job so I have zero time to complete anything. I am behind once again after I got myself caught up i got behind. Because of one seminar option 2. Which I still need to do! But I have had zero time this week to complete anything. Then I missed both of my seminars!!! GO ME!! I just had so much going on that i have been crazy. I am kind of up early trying to do some of the stuff because i have to work all day. Then when I get home we are going to have company. So I wont have anytime tonight to do anything.

All I can say to you guys and gals is that I hope that you all do well on your final project. As I am sure many of you will!!

snow

So I woke up yesterday morning to about 3 inches of snow!! It was wonderful when it finally stopped snowing we probably had close to 10 inches if not more. So I was pretty excited!! I havent seen snow in a year. The last time I saw it we got about 8 inches in GA. That was March of 2009. But the last time that i have seen snow like this may have been when I was really young. I remember we had a sleep over at the church and it got canceled because everyone got snowed in. But in GA we never really saw much snow in my hometown. We occasionally (very rare) had snow flurries. But it would last like 5 minutes and stop and never stuck! We still had to go to school. But It is so pretty outside right now. All the white snow and how it is sitting on the trees. Granted it is starting to melt but it is still pretty! I wish that it would have lasted a little longer.

I am sure that it will still be around tomorrow but not enough to play in!! But I am thankful for what I got!

3 weeks in

So its my third week in TX and let me tell you it has been fun!! Last week I went to the rodeo. That was an adventure in itself. I havent been to a rodeo since I was at least 10 maybe younger. But to start that story, it was raining. We were running a little late and so we were trying to run to get inside so that we wouldnt miss the show. Well needless to say with me being clumsy. I fell. I was walking at the time too!!!I slipped on a cover for a drain and hurt my arm! and scrapped my knee and hip. I was soaking wet, cold and in pain. But hey I still had fun that is all that matters.

Went to work still and did my job. I work at Sam's Club so if you have ever been in there you know that as a cashier we have to transfer the stuff to another cart. Well they put me on the flatbed lane. what fun that was. My supervisor came up to me and asked me how I was doing and I said it could be better. Then she proceeded to ask me if I was ever positive. So I responded Yes I am I am just in alot of pain! And then she was like oh ok.

Ok So I forgot a part in there. The first Saturday that I worked I got MILK splattered all over me. I was soaking wet and they would not let me go home to change. Which I wouldnt have come back because I live 30 Minutes away! So yeah I was pretty angry about that and the same supervisor saw me then!

Ok so to move on..today I went to go pick up my friends little girl from school because she was running a fever. Madison has a disibility and I am not sure what she has. But she does not walk nor talk. She is six years old and the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She is such a sweetheart. So I had her and her walker in my hands (she is taking physical therapy to build her strength that is why she has a walker). Well I was talking and paying attention to her and missed a step. Luckily I didnt fall and hurt us both but I did stun my leg pretty bad and now it is hurting.

But guess what I do have some good news!! I am going to the Pat Green concert tomorrow and I am very excited. Just hope that my leg stops hurting. Oh and I bought my first pair of cowgirl boots yesterday!!

Just babbling!!

So this week has been has been the craziest week for me!! First I am so behind on school work that it is crazy my grades are dropping. This is my post for Unit 4...shows you how behind I am forgot to post on the blog....But the best outlook of this week I have got a new job!!! I will be a receptionist at a law firm. I am looking forward to it!! Because I will finally be out of the retail world!! YAY Me!!

On another note. Although I may be the only single one in my group I am going to see Pat Green on Saturday! Never heard of him but I have heard he is a great country singer! So I am pretty excited about it.

I will be working on getting more post on here. I like to keep people updated in my life! I am very open with my life right now! Nothing will stop me or hold me back!

Figuring out technology

So I got a new phone yesterday and it is so hard to figure these things out. All I want to know is how to work the darn thing. I am slowly but surely figuring it all out but I will be carrying to phones around until I get it completely figured out. I've always heard that young people are supposedly technology literate. Well guess what were not all that way!! Unless you are someone that deals with it everyday than you don't know how to use the stuff!!! Which I am pretty good at maneuvering my way around things with just the basics. But this phone is so complicated!! Maybe I should have stuck with a blackberry!! Who knows that is what I got used to and now I decided to change companies all together.

I like my new phone but sometimes when I want to figure something out it takes me somewhere else. HAHA...what a life! Maybe in the next year I will get it down pat (I think that is how the saying is).

New Year

I just wanted to start off by saying this is the first time that I have ever done this!! But it seems pretty interesting. So I am going to start off with saying that this year (2010) has started out great for me. I am starting a new journey in life. I have had a lot of life changes in the past 2 months and i have grown as a person in general.

I am moving to Fort Worth, TX on the 15th of January. I am very excited about it. Just trying to have some new surroundings around me. I have recently gotten out of a 7 year relationship and I want to have some new adventures in life. I feel that if I move to a new place God will send me in the correct direction. He has his plan for my life. I know that this is what is best for me right now and i have a lot of support on it. I also feel like i will be able to concentrate more on my school work because I will not have all the drama around me.

Drama has always filled my life and I am quite annoyed with it at this point in my life. I hope that the drama does not follow me. As i mentioned earlier i have grown as a person and seen many things about myself. I am learning more about my self as the days go by. Who i am really am and who i want to be.

The one thing that i rely on is God and my family. They will always be there to support me. No matter the reasons. If they are not happy with a decision of mine they will still support me because they know that I have to make mistakes!
